Objectives of Atlas
Maintain 501c3 status in the state of Wisconsin.
Create an annual programming schedule that offers creative and professional opportunities for artists and audiences. This schedule is on a nine (9) month production basis, from September through May; with administrative work conducted in the continuous twelve (12) month calendar year.
Develop strategic plans (operations, financial, and production), that support the Mission and Values of the company.
Form partnerships with organizations and businesses throughout the region that assist in supporting the artistic vision that Atlas has for our community.
Establish an operational base for the company; incorporating offices, storage, and both performance and production facilities.
Educate our artists and audiences to a greater extent by creating educational outreach programs to take the performing arts into communities in our region; through classes, workshops, volunteer support, and production opportunities.
Utilize local, state, and federal agencies to recognize, advise, and support the activities of the company through lending fiscal and operational support as well as funding (via grants, etc.).
GOALS
Completing a five and ten year strategic plan, developed in cooperation with Atlas contributors and supporters in our area that shows incremental growth year-on-year creatively, operationally, and fiscally.
Develop a Board of Directors who have significant impact in the communities Atlas serves, and whose visions and interests support the mission and values of the organization.
Establish a team of artists and collaborators who bring their passion for the arts, as well as their unique and valued skill sets to the company in ways that allow Atlas to honor our commitment to community-minded creative endeavors.
Construct yearly schedules of live performances that speak to our community consisting of plays, musicals, events, and special presentations (i.e. speakers, open discussions, etc.).
Locate and secure a home venue that allows for creative freedom, flexibility, and maximum comfort and securing for our supporters. This space is an anchor for the arts in our region.
